Why do we do this? Well – panda is all about supporting community and supporting the arts. What better way to give back then to help support our communities?
Usually designers for shirts get paid a lump sum and then the said company collects all the profit from the shirt sales. This doesn’t sit well with us. P Is For Panda will live off of the contributions from a collection of artists. The artists will determine the price of the merch they design and in some cases – the run size. They will not get paid up front.
P Is For Panda will collect payment as well. We aren’t in this to make millions. We are in this for friends, community and the arts. Why keep all the money for yourselfs when you can make a difference in the world around you? Go do yourself a favor and check out some local charities to see if you can volunteer, donate blood, donate money, go to a local gallery to check out the local artists in your area, donate a kidney just because someone needs one.Welcome to the family.
